I dunno how much I'd like a modern Sherlock Holmes. Part of why it works is because his PROFESSIONAL DETECTIVE WORK is unusual in the time. With forensics and shit ehhhhhhhhhhh.

book of Eli - good flow, decent acting/action, good aesthetic, shakey plot, mediocre characters, too much about christianity and faith. but was overall decently enjoyable, and was based in post-apocalyptic america which adds a little bonus to any movie. i'd say 6.9/10
