I did not enjoy this movie film so much. Like Resevoir Dogs and Death Proof QT spent a lot of time creating awesome and intriguing characters only to turn the film into a laughable B-rate gore fest in the last 1/3 of the movie.

Up until the end of the bar scene I was thinking "this movie is fucking awesome" and from that point on "this shit is completely retarded."

Hans was the best character in a movie ever though. Until the end when he had all his gay dialogue about his post war demands, that was stupid.

I agree with this, but I thought the bar scene was awesome. I hated the theater part though (besides Hans and the bun-jurno, that is), the part where the two dudes start gunning down the crowd and the whole "jewish vengeance" shit was just lame.

i think you're kind of missing the purpose and point.

right then you're saying to yourself "no fucking way, some shit is going to happen and hitler won't die and it will be some look how close we got to him explanation, because in real life hitler didn't die like this"

I found it amusing how for all of chapter 1 everyone was silent in the theatre Jews being hunted and killed isn't cool etc etc. Not 5 minutes later uprorious laughter at German soldiers being scalped and blugeoned to death. Interesting view into social stigmas/stereotypes about ww2 and that era.

the first chapter of the film felt completely different from the rest of it, the only thing kind of funny was Waltz waving at Shoshana

I saw it, thought it was good but not as OMGAWESOME as everyone here is making it out to be. I liked the testicle shooting incident because it was awkward the whole time and you never knew when they were going to start shooting each other. Even after he shoots the guy in the bag he starts stabbing his neck, I lol'd at that part, but found myself alone in the laughter.

If they hated the nazis that bad, and the theater was burning down... wouldn't they rather let them burn to death then make it a quick death via bullets? If I hated nazis I would do that.

I like how the movie was almost a series of one-act plays which still connected. I thought dialogue was great. Lots of over-the-top funny shit but still well done. Pitt did a fine job. A few retarded moments but didn't detract. As usual everyone dies too.

Unnecessary gore occasionally excessive but that's QT's trademark yo. Witty film went downhill towards end into orgy of rapemurderdeathdestruction but hey can't complain--I knew what I was getting into.
